The US Fed meeting scheduled later today may announce anything between 25 to 50 basis point cut in interest rates to boost the sagging economy. A 50 basis point cut may be in line with the market expectations.

As a result of that or otherwise the Indian stock markets may rise handsomely on 31st January 2008.

The forecast for Indian stock Market is that there will be all round buying and the market will rise.
